Aam Panna is a traditional drink Indian summer drink made up of raw mangoes, sugar, mint, roasted cumin and black salt. this drink is very popular to beat heat and also keep us cool. It is superr easy to make at home.

Let’s learn how to make it step by step:-

🌱Ingredients
• 2 raw green mangoes (medium size)
• 4 to 5 tablespoons sugar or jaggery (accordingly)
• 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder (jeera powder)
• 1 teaspoon black salt (kala namak)
• 10–12 mint leaves (optional, as per your taste)
• 3 to 4 cups cold water
• Ice cubes (if you want it chilled)
• Mint leaves (for decoration)

👩‍🍳How to Make Aam Panna

  1. Boil the Mangoes:
    Wash the mangoes and boil them in water until it becomes soft. You can also use a pressure cooker (2–3 whistles) for soften it. Let them cool down.
  2. Take Out the Pulp:
    Once the mangoes are cool, peel off the skin and take out the soft inside part (called pulp). Throw away the seed.
  3. Blend Everything:
    Put the mango pulp into a blender. Add sugar (or jaggery), black salt, cumin powder, and mint leaves. Add a little water and blend it into a smooth paste.
  4. Add Cold Water:
    Now pour the paste into a jug. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water and mix well. Taste it – if it’s too sour, add more sugar. If it’s too sweet, add a pinch of salt.
  5. Serve and Enjoy:
    Pour the drink into glasses. Add ice cubes if you like. You can also put a mint leaf on top to make it look fancy!
